SmartName has over 500 themes and many versions of parking templates — Basic, 2-Column, 3-Column, Classic, Custom Photo, Hybrid, Tabs, Results & Related, Results-Simple, Results-Tab, Search and new Glassy and 3D Bars templates. You can run a test on the layouts to see which one receives the highest numbers of clicks per domain. The auto-optimization feature will select the best performing template or you can select yourself.

With the parking templates you choose a theme type and select a photo. Pick your color schemes and you have an option to apply gradients. You can change he title, add a slogan or use a logo on your pages. You can add social bookmarks such as Digg, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us, Twitter and others. Add Skyscraper or Leaderboard banner advertising, enable custom pop ups, enter conversion tracking URLs, contact page, about us page, site map and select the number of ads to display. Your customizations will not appear until they have been approved.

Keywords - You can chose to add your own keywords. You can enter up to 15 keywords to show on the template.

Titles and Meta Tags – Under the SEO tab you can add your own titles, descriptions and keywords. SmartName shops and content sites can getg indexed at Google, Bing and Yahoo.

Bulk Modify – You can add a list of 5,000 domains (list one domain per line, no commas) and edit up to 1,000 domain names with the bulk edit tool.

Earnings - Many domainers are moving non-earning names parked with other companies to SmartName and seeing an improvement using the Ecomm Site. With the Shopping sites click values are lower than regular parking but you can get more clicks due to better search indexing. You could also add Google Adsense or pay per sale ads like Commission Junction, ClickBank and Linkshare.

Payment Options – SmartName pays on the 15th of each month. $10 minimum payout for PayPal, $50 for checks and $250 or more for wire transfer. Small fee for wire transfers.

Statistics – Parking statistics of clicks, page views, and detailed traffic numbers are updated in real time. Estimated earnings for your domains are updated on a daily basis, overnight. You can add search engine verification codes for Google, Yahoo and Bing. Gives Yahoo status and if D2R rated.

Approval - Approval is required. SmartName is selective in accepting new members but they do not have a minimum number of domains to own. SmartName does not accept low quality domains.
