AFD - AdSense for Domins or AFD is a new parking service from Google. AFD began in December of 2008. AFD was originally only open to North American AdSense accounts but is now available in the UK and many other countries. You can display ads from Google on your parked domains.

Advertising Feed – Google uses their own adverting feed (supposedly cutting out the middle man).

Templates - Simple templates and AFD has many less features then other parking companies.

Custom Content – No. You cannot add custom text or pictures to your AFD sites.

Titles and Meta Tags – No you cannot add your own titles or meta tags. Google inserts a “No Index / No Follow” meta tag on your pages so search engines will not index your parking pages. Google wants type-in traffic from domains.

Allows Adult Names - Adult sites are not allowed.

Mass Modify - No.

Earnings - Some names do well but many are lower than other parking companies.

Payment Methods: Check, EFT or Electronic Fund Transfer, Western Union Quick Cash and Rapida. AFD does not offer a PayPal option. $100 minimum to be paid.

Statistics – Not as good as other parking companies. Only gives the number of impressions and your earnings.

Selling Names – No. You cannot sell names or add a for sale link or message on your AFD parking pages.

Customer Service - Google has  a help section and forums for AdSense related questions.

Affilate Program - No. Google ended the AdSense referral program in August 2008.

Approval - You must be approved for an AdSense account to use AFD. To qualify for AdSense you must have a website and be at least 18 years old. If you don’t have a website you can create one at Google’s Sites or start a blog at Blogger to sign up for AdSense.

To use AFD you must change the domain’s CNAME records (not change DNS as most other parking companies use) which may not be available at some domain registrars.
